Happy Father's Day! Today after church my family went to a local Chinese restaurant for lunch, to celebrate Dad's day. Then, my mom and I went to go buy a new microwave oven for my parents' house, as their old one finally gave up the ghost after almost 20 years (!) of service.

Last night my mom and I went to a family friend's birthday party. A bunch of people ended up singing on one of those Karooke microphones that gives you a score after you finish your song. Needless to say I did not venture to sing :) but it was great fun listening and watching those who did. Early on, one of the uncles sang "My Sharona" and got an amazingly high score of 98 (out of 100)... no one was able to top that the rest of the night. :)
