Oops, been lax with the blogging the past couple of days. Well, one good reason is that my sister's graduation party was yesterday. :) It was an all-day affair at my parents' house; we invited people in two "phases" so that there wouldn't be 80 people in the house all at once... although there was some overlap of course. Anyway, it was a fun time. The food was yummo and I got to see some family friends I had not seen in some time, as well as my closer friends who I always enjoy hanging around with. My cousin brought over that Karaoke mic that seems to have become the hit of many recent parties, and this time was no exception. :) The one snafu was that the power went out on our block for a couple hours in the afternoon; fortunately, it was after all the food was cooked, and power was restored before it got too hot in the house due to lack of a/c.

It's sooo hot again here today, 90's and muggy. It's definitely summer. That reminds me, I must set the water sprinkler out on the lawn in front of my townhouse today. It's rather brown, whereas my neighbors' lawns are lush and green. Oops!
