Well, my good pal Brian is leaving town today... he's driving to NC to spend a couple weeks w/his gf, then he'll be in Hawaii visiting his parents... then he returns to the mainland :) in August to start law school in PA. I spent most of yesterday hanging out with him and some other friends; first I joined him and two of our co-workers for lunch, then I accompanied him to another friend's baby shower. All in all a fun day. I also helped him pack some things in his car. Since he had more stuff to pack up than could fit in his car, Brian left some non-essential items with me, to be picked up the next time he's in Chicagoland. That is, unless I manage to sell some of it off first. hehe. j/k!

My mom's travel agent friend found airfare to Spain for about $950! So it looks like my sister and I will be able to take that trip to Madrid to visit our exchange student from last summer. Yeah! Unfortunately, due to both cost and lack of available vacation time, my parents won't be able to join us :( but it should still be a fun trip.
