Alas, another weekend draws to a close. At least today I don't have to pack up a suitcase and prepare to live away from home for the next four days... :)

I lectored at mass today, and a family friend's daughter served as an altar girl for the first time today (as it happens, my sister "the veteran" served as well, helping make for a smooth debut). The "newbie" got applause from friends and family when she emerged from the altar server room afterwards. :)

My mom and dad helped me rearrange some furniture at my house this afternoon, in preparation for the delivery of my new bed. We moved my current bed into the second bedroom, so I'll be sleeping in there for the next couple of days. We also repositioned that antique desk that I purchased from a family friend a few weeks ago. It is now in the den/computer room where a bookcase used to be; the bookcase is now in the "great room" near the top of the stairs. I think I'm going to use it mainly to display collectibles and souvenir-type stuff though. So I guess I'll eventually need to purchase another bookcase for the den to store my books, which are now sitting on top of the desk.

OK, time for bed.
