I attended my K-8 pal Mitch's memorial service today. :( I was asked to be one of the readers for the mass... such an honor. The service was lovely, and Mitch's mom and sister and dad held up so well, I'm amazed. It was also nice to see several of my old grade school classmates and teachers... wish it were under better circumstances, but it was nice to catch up nonetheless. We'll miss you Mitch!!!
