Well we got a bit of a blizzard in Chicago over the weekend... about 11" of snow fell from Friday through Saturday. I had tentative plans to meet some friends out on Saturday night but with all the snow I decided to just stay in. It was just as well since I needed to get caught up on the reading assignments for my Financial Accounting class. Which I have to say is the most thrilling and engrossing subject I have ever had the pleasure to study! *sarcasm*

I'll be spending the weekend (Thurs-Mon) over at my parents' house again, so I can keep my grandma and the puppy company while Mom & Dad are partying it up in Vegas. :) My company's "Winterfest" party is on Saturday, so I guess I'll be partying it up a little bit too! I like going to those company get-togethers to see people I've worked and hung out with on past assignments. This year, the party is in the city so more of the "young" crowd will be attending... should be a good time.
