Meh
It's been a busy couple of weeks! Work has been a bit hectic... we have just a month or so until the application we are porting over to our new client's servers has to be up and ready for user testing. The deployment has been going pretty smoothly but we have run into a couple of little snags here and there. Aside from the project stuff, I've been involved in recruiting over the past few weeks, and I was happy to hear that two of the candidates I helped interview ended up getting hired in to the company! Our ops manager and I took them out for a "welcome" lunch today.
The last few weeks of my accounting class are gonna be crazy... Three more group projects in addition to the one we just wrapped up, another quiz, plus the final. Seems a bit unreasonable to pack so much into the last three weeks of the course, if you ask me. Oh well.
At home, my cable tv service has been on the fritz. Something is wrong with the cable box. Comcast came out to swap the box out but the new one is still not working. Jim came over for a visit on Saturday with Reese and Sebastian (both sooo cute! And Seb is such a chatterbox now!)... since he works for Comcast he was able to make some calls to try and test the signal, etc. We found that I can get basic cable fine with the tv just plugged into the wall, so at least I can watch that while I wait for Comcast to come back with another box. *sigh*
Anyway, I better get back to studying...
