TSX, baby

I got my new car today! I am now the owner of a 2005 Acura TSX. This morning I called the dealer to inquire into whether they had my preferred color and options in stock. He called back to tell me they had one, and urged me to come in and take a look at it asap because this particular model is selling quickly. I stopped into the dealership after work, found the car to be just about perfect, and sealed the deal shortly after! The financing fell into place nicely, even though I did not have my checkbook with me since I wasn't expecting to be driving home a new car today (oops)... I'll be dropping off the downpayment check tomorrow. Mom and/or Dad will accompany me back to the dealership too to pick up their "new" CR-V (my old car) which I had to leave there overnight since I didn't have anyone with me to drive it back today. :) The only snafu (aside from not having my checks) was that the winter floormats that I had ordered were not available. The dealer gave me rubber trunk liner instead and promised to get a floormat set to me soon (I'm holding him to that!)... Anyhow, I'm thrilled with my new ride, it's nice and smooth and very quick, with tons of interior features. Mom and Dad are happy too now that they will have a replacement for their car that was in a wreck. Hooray!
