Digital temptation

So, my roving geek eye has come upon a newly released digital camera, the Canon S2 IS. It's got a lot of cool features, a big zoom range, and it has gotten good reviews. But I do *not* need it. :P My current digicam (Nikon Coolpix 5400) is fine, the only thing that's disappointing about it is that it is kind of slow at focusing, especially indoors, and the overall performance can be a bit sluggish. So anyway... I still want the S2. :) We'll see if I can talk myself out of it or if I take the plunge and splurge on a new toy within the next few weeks.

Lunch with Sarah on Sunday was nice. We talked a lot about work, family, hobbies, etc. I'd be open to meeting up with her again some time. I asked if she could join me at my friend Amy's wedding in a few weeks but she is scheduled to work a double shift that day, so no go.

Three-day weekend coming up, whoo! No big plans... might check out the Taste of Chicago tonight or tomorrow, probably attend the Young Adult Mass at OSP on Sunday morning, then maybe dinner at the parental units' that evening. I need a haircut too, plus there's always homework to be done. The rest of the time I'll be more than happy to just veg. :)
