Melting

It was sooo hot in Chicagoland today... mid-90s. Thank God for a/c! :) It was the hottest day here in a number of years.

I'll be spending most of the weekend in the 'burbs... My parents are going up to Lake Geneva with some friends tomorrow and coming back Sunday. So I get to watch the "brat terrier" and keep Lola company. Hopefully they'll be low-maintenance so I can get some studying done. And also some shopping. Plus, I have a lunch date (gasp!) with Sarah on Sunday! I still need to figure out what restaurant should go to. This will be my first time actually meeting her in person... we've talked on the phone a few times, and exchanged some e-mails. So, I'm a little nervous!

In other news... I got an A in the Marketing class! :D Hopefully I will manage the same in the MIS class I'm taking right now. I'm so looking forward to having the second half of summer off from school. I need a vacation! :)
