We finally had nice weather on the weekend! :) I was even able to hang out and read the paper on the balcony on Sunday morning. Later on Sunday I went to that housewarming party for my pal Rebe and her husband. Fun!

My friend Melissa from Alabama (with a banjo on her knee) (heh) is driving up to Chi-town tomorrow. She will be scoping out apartments/rooms to stay in during her summer break. I hope she finds something in a safe area.

I think I will be contacting a realtor this week to discuss putting my house up for sale. I need to just do it and see what happens. If it sells, great, if it doesn't or it takes too long, no biggie. I'm realizing that it's really a no-lose situation.

This has been a pretty busy week. Worked overtime each day, hit the gym twice, had my Spanish class on Tuesday, went shopping for garden stuff with Mom on Wednesday, company meeting after work on Thursday... And this weekend looks to be pretty full as well: I have to take my car in for emissions testing tomorrow, and then on Sunday I will be attending a housewarming party for my good pal Rebe and her husband. Should be a fun shindig. :)

I've been bothered by allergies all week... sneezy, itchy eyes, congestion. Blech. According to Weather.com, pollen counts have been high this week. I guess that would be the culprit. I took some Claritin and Sudafed and they helped some, but didn't quite get rid of all the symptoms. Oh well. Maybe I'll have to resort to Benadryl if this keeps up; I know it will work well, but it will also knock me out.

Condo update: no update. :) I need to decide whether/when to put my house on the market. Once it's listed (and hopefully sold) I'll have a better idea of what I can afford. Then again, if I sell and then I end up not able to find something in the city I really like, I'm kind of stuck. Well, I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind having me around the house for a little while...

Tomorrow my parents and I (and maybe Lola too) will be driving down to IU to visit my sis. She'll be getting confirmed at the Easter Vigil on Saturday evening. Congrats to her! :)

Work went pretty well this week from a productivity standpoint, but there have been some frustrating management issues. Oh well. I guess you find this kind of thing at every job.

Better go pack for tomorrow's trip! Happy Easter to all who celebrate it! :)

Earlier this week I viewed another condo unit for sale at 933. It was a corner unit with tons of windows but only standard finishes. Nice unit but nothing "wow" about it.

Ho hum. This has been a pretty low-key week. Work had its ups and downs. We're using this programming framework for our web pages that's new to most of us so we've been struggling through.

I'll be dining with three of my h.s. pals on Sunday, including two who I haven't seen since graduation! Should be fun!
