S-l-o-w commute this morning because of snow. :P Oh well, at least I made it to work safely. I briefly considered working from home but I figured I wouldn't get anything done that way. :)

Played with Mocha on Sunday and ended up covered in puppy fur. I had to buy a lint roller!

Met up w/Mark for lunch on Sunday too. It was a good time. Always nice to catch up and chat with him. Plus we exchanged Christmas gifts (only one month late, hehe).

I've been bouncing around between internal projects here at work. Now I just got staffed on an internal *corporate* project. Supposedly I will be doing some Java programming for it. Could be interesting...

Dad finally saw his doctor for his memory problem. Mom reports that they took lots of blood for testing. Eww. :P Hopefully it will turn out to be something easily correctable.

I finally made it back to the gym on Saturday for the first time since a few days before Christmas. Wow was I sore the next day! That'll teach me to slack off for so long! :)

Drove Lori back to school w/my parents on Sunday. It was a nice, smooth trip, good weather, etc. Lunched at Fazoli's as per usual. :)

Class again tonight! I was up till 11:30 doing homework. I still have a couple of question/answer things to look at but I hopefully will have time to do that during dinner, before I head over to class.

Had my first class at DePaul today (Business Law). It went ok. My professor seems pretty interesting and has a good sense of humor. Hopefully that will make the three-hour long classes go by more quickly :)

It is soooo cold! Yesterday was supposedly the coldest day in Chicago in three years. *shiver*

Happy New Year!

I rang in the new year with my family at my condo. Mocha the puppy came along and was very well-behaved. :) Mom brought her karaoke mic although I did not participate in the singing (I had my recent cold/cough as an excuse, hehe). It was a nice, low-key but still fun time.

My h.s./college pal Shunsuke visited with his wife on Thursday. It was nice to see them again. Especially since they are parents-to-be! Congrats guys!
