I am officially an American Idol addict! I was mildly outraged that Jennifer Hudson (from my hometown Chicago) was voted off last week - she was quite talented and had really started to perform impressively. Oh well. I followed Season 1 of Idol somewhat, while I was working in Huntsville, but didn't really watch Season 2. For some reason I got totally hooked this year!

At work, testing has sucked this week. And now my colleague Tim will be embarking on implementing similar testing for his team's web application. Hopefully he'll be able to take all our lessons learned and it will be a much smoother process for him and his team.

I gotta study tonight and the rest of this week for my Global Econ final exam. I got a B+ on the midterm... one point away from an A, ugh. Hopefully I'll nail the final.

Blah day at work. Test scripts failed left and right... much re-work to do.

On a brighter note, Jason and I checked out Jillian's in Albany today. It has a nice sports bar-type atmosphere. We didn't get to play any games, but we did split a yummy Snickers pie. We also got accosted by a couple of drunk girls who kept asking us to pose for pictures with them, LOL.

Jeez, where did this week go??

Had my midterm exam for my global economy class today. It went all right. I got stumped by one question but I think I was able to answer the rest pretty well. I guess we'll see just how well next week :P

Kathy and I completed the DaVinci Code web quest this week. Fun stuff! Sometimes I wish I were a detective :)

I'm meeting up w/Rebe for lunch in the city tomorrow. Should be fun. She hasn't seen my new place yet so I'll probably give her a quick condo tour before lunch.

Turns out I did catch a cold. I think this is the second or third one this season... not good! :P

I got my Coolpix camera back! Finally! Looks like it's back in good working condition. Hooray!

Lori's birthday is tomorrow (Easter Sunday)! I still need to buy her gift. :) I'll be sleeping over at my parents' house tonight so the whole family can go to an early mass then have a birthday lunch for Lori before she has to head back to IU.

I think I'm coming down with a cold again, or maybe it's allergies.

Had dinner with Mark G. on Saturday, in the city. Aside from the fact that he had to park almost a mile from my condo :) it was a good time. It was his first time to see my new place. He told me he is planning to buy a place of his own some time in the next year too.

I wrote to United Airlines and asked them to bump up my frequent flyer status to "Premier" to match my status on American... and they did it! Cool. Now I can board with the rest of the elite flyers. hahaha

Looking forward to Easter weekend. Lori is coming up from IU. We were supposed to go down to visit her (since Easter Sunday is also her birthday) but Dad couldn't get a day off of work so Lori decided to drive up instead.
