Short weekend, long week so far :P ... Had my first class of the spring quarter on Saturday - Global Econ. It's interesting so far and the prof seems very knowledegable. It's just too bad that it takes up half my Saturday. Incidentally, I found out my BLW 500 grade... B. waaah!

Went to church and had a nice lunch w/the fam on Sunday. Mocha is still hyper as ever even after his neutering! :)

Lovely two-hour flight delay on Sunday night - didn't arrive at my hotel till 2:30am! Ugh!

Work's pretty hectic. Another guy from the Chicago office started this week. The Mafia grows! LOL

I visited downtown Albany today. Took some photos at Empire State Plaza, then checked out the NY State Museum. Not a bad way to spend a chilly Saturday afternoon. Afterwards I attended mass at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a historic cathedral right next to the Plaza. The church is beautiful.

Bored in Albany... although I have gotten to watch a lot of my favorite TLC and HGTV shows today :)

I have to admit it is kind of nice to have *nothing* to do this weekend. Well, I did go to work for a few hours this morning, but the rest of the day has been pretty relaxing. I did a little shopping after lunch, drove through downtown Albany for the first time, and have just chilled at the hotel. My next class starts next week Saturday, so I should cherish this bit of down time!

So, Mocha the puppy was neutered on Thursday... Mom sent me a pic of him with his "lampshade" collar on - funny. I'm looking forward to seeing him next weekend. When I slept over at my parents' on Tuesday he slept on the futon with me. How sweet :)

Eeee, my final exam is tomorrow night! I'm kinda stressed about it. I don't know if getting an A on the midterm was good or bad in terms of my stress level :) because now I want to keep that grade up. Oh well. I'm a nerd, what can I say.

It's been so nice being in town for a week. Too bad I'll be spending over a week back in Albany... :P Well maybe I can do some sightseeing or something there this weekend.

Dinner w/Smith and the gang at Mongolian BBQ last Thurs was a blast! My first stir-fry creation was very yummy (strip steak, vegetables, with a ginger/garlic sauce... mmm) but the second one (chicken, egg, teriyaki) turned out a bit too salty. No matter, it was still a good time.

Dad almost quit his job over the weekend. He got fed up with something and walked out of the store. Then the manager called to apologize and he went back to work. :) Silly.

Mocha is scheduled to be neutered next week! Poor guy. But, hopefully this will calm him down a bit. He's been very hyper and aggressive lately.

Today is my first day of my one week working in Oak Brook. Nice to be home in Chicagoland. I'll be glad when my final exam is over, but sad that I'll have to go back to Albany after. :P

Helloooo flight delay. 6.5 hours late due to bad weather in Chicago. Sheesh!
