Omigosh, I'm further into the testing process at work than I ever wanted to be. :P I'm now the point-person for the automated unit tests. Whatever happened to me being on the programming team?! Hopefully I'll get back there soon...

Lori will be home for a couple of days due to a sad event - a friend of her's from grade school and high school died suddenly earlier this week. The services will be on Friday. It'll be nice to see Lori, but under such unfortunate circumstances. :(

Eek, I still have to pack for the flight home tomorrow and it's almost midnight! I better get going :)

My Coolpix 5400 camera is sick. :( Something is wrong with the lens. I sent it in to Nikon's repair center for service. Hopefully it'll be a quick turnaround...

Flying out on Monday morning instead of Sunday night this week. My usual flight was sold out. It will kind of make for a short week, although with a couple of long work days mixed in to make up the time.

Sebastian is sooo cute! He came over to my parents' house with Jim and Tita Cora on Friday night. He's walking a lot and babbling even more. And I learned he is going to be a big brother! :)

Mocha was super-hyper this morning. He ended up getting his harness caught on the underside of the futon mattress. I had to rescue him while he was gagging, poor thing. Well that's what he gets for hiding under there!

Locked myself out of my rental car yesterday. Ooooops. Wish these GM cars would leave the locking/unlocking decisions to the driver. :P Kudos to Avis, though, for attentive and prompt service and assistance.

On a happier note, I got an A on my business law midterm! Yeah! My prof told me that I got the second-highest exam grade in the class. Woohoo :)

Checked out the Chicago Auto Show today. Saw some neat concept cars and new models. It was sooo crowded though, so I didn't get a chance to sit in any of the cars, but I did take a lot of pics. I also saw Kevin & Vince there, who brought along their fancy photography equipment. :)

I'm in Albany! Got in late Sunday night (darn flight delays). Hotel is pretty nice though. And the people at work seem very friendly. I'm still waiting for a permanent workspace. Apparently, I will be working on implement some unit testing tool, in addition to coding webpages. Could be interesting since I'm not a testing specialist. :)

As for my DePaul class, I talked with the prof and he said as long as I can keep up with the material on my own and be in class for the final, he's cool with that.

Meet me in... Albany? I got assigned to the eMedNY project today. I start on Monday! Not looking forward to winter travel, and this might mess things up with the class I'm taking. On the positive side, I know a bunch of Chicago-based people already working on the project, so I won't feel all alone out there.

Got my new cell phone from Verizon last week. It's an LG flip phone with color screen (but no camera). I like it so far. Although I'm not crazy about the ringtones. Also it has no speakerphone, but I can live without. I just checked out the Verizon site though and they just came out with a newer model from LG that is pretty much the same but *with* a speakerphone! :P

Took my car in for its 30K-mile service last night. It took forever (4+ hours!) but everything's in good shape. I stayed at my parents' place overnight so I wouldn't have to drive all the way home in the snow.

My BLW500 midterm is tomorrow!!! Yikes! I've studied everything but I feel like I need to re-review one more time. It's been a looong time since I have had to take an exam like this!
